Abstract Summary

Fassier-Duval telescopic nails combined with corrective osteotomy effectively treat bone fractures and deformities in children with osteogenesis imperfecta. A 7-year study of 33 patients showed excellent deformity correction, rapid healing (5.3 weeks), and significant functional improvements, with acceptable 20.63% revision rates and no infections.
