Abstract Summary

A measles outbreak in Indonesia’s Lamongan District affected 51 children, with 37% laboratory-confirmed cases. The investigation revealed declining immunization coverage, especially for the second measles-rubella vaccine dose, as the primary cause. COVID-19 disruptions, religious misconceptions, and long intervals between doses contributed to low vaccination rates.
