Abstract Summary

New research following 134 girls for 6.5 years reveals that pre-pubertal milk consumption may trigger earlier menstruation. Girls with higher milk intake had 2.3x greater risk of reaching menarche by age 12, while cheese and yogurt showed no effect. The study suggests dietary minerals like calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus—abundant in milk—may influence pubertal timing in girls.

Why Brain? 🧠
