Abstract Summary

ACS patients with prior CABG showed distinct characteristics: older age, more comorbidities, larger infarcts, and less frequent reperfusion therapy. Despite these challenges, in-hospital mortality dropped dramatically from 13.2% to 4% over two decades, mirroring improvements in non-CABG patients. This 20-year study of 16,750 patients demonstrates substantial progress in managing high-risk ACS cases.

Why Brain? 🧠

20-year registry shows ACS patients with prior CABG have higher risk profiles but achieved significant reductions in hospital mortality and stroke rates, comparable to non-CABG patients.
