Abstract Summary
A systematic review of 64 studies found insufficient evidence that herbal medicines effectively treat Parkinson’s disease. While combination therapy with conventional drugs showed some promise in reducing medication doses and side effects, herbal medicines alone showed no clear benefits over placebo or standard treatments. Rigorous clinical trials are needed.
