Abstract Summary

Implementing Surviving Sepsis Campaign bundles in an ICU gradually improved compliance over four years, with 24-hour bundle adherence rising from 15% to 44%. Most notably, in-hospital mortality for severe sepsis and septic shock patients dropped dramatically from 54% to 16%, demonstrating that sustained, multifaceted interventions can significantly reduce sepsis deaths.
