Abstract Summary
Sublingual and oral vitamin B12 supplements are as effective as intramuscular injections for raising B12 levels and lowering homocysteine, according to a meta-analysis of 16 studies with 6,098 participants. These non-invasive, cost-effective alternatives may be ideal for long-term B12 management, especially in elderly patients and those with absorption issues.
