Abstract Summary
Automated insulin delivery systems significantly outperformed traditional multiple daily injections in a large international trial of 252 people with type 1 diabetes. After 6 months, the MiniMed 670G/770G systems reduced HbA1c levels by 0.7% and decreased time spent in hypoglycemia, while maintaining safety across all age groups from children to adults.
