Abstract Summary

New research shows combining four biomarkersโ€”serum ferritin, homocysteine, C-reactive protein, and liver fat ultrasound measurementsโ€”significantly improves prediction of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). In a study of 102 MASLD patients versus 106 healthy controls, this multi-marker approach demonstrated superior diagnostic accuracy compared to individual tests alone.

Why Brain? ๐Ÿง

Combined serum ferritin, homocysteine, CRP, and ultrasound fat parameters effectively predict metabolic liver disease, offering valuable biomarkers for early diagnosis and clinical intervention.
