Abstract Summary

New research shows combining four biomarkers—serum ferritin, homocysteine, C-reactive protein, and liver fat ultrasound measurements—significantly improves prediction of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). In a study of 102 MASLD patients versus 106 healthy controls, this multi-marker approach demonstrated superior diagnostic accuracy compared to individual tests alone.

Why Brain? 🧠

Combined serum ferritin, homocysteine, CRP, and ultrasound fat parameters effectively predict metabolic liver disease, offering valuable biomarkers for early diagnosis and clinical intervention.
