Abstract Summary
Co-enrolling critically ill children in multiple trials simultaneously appears feasible without compromising recruitment. In a study of two pediatric intensive care trials, units that allowed co-enrollment maintained similar consent rates to single-trial approaches. Despite concerns about overwhelming parents, 49% of families consented to both studies when offered. These findings suggest co-enrollment could accelerate research delivery in PICUs.
