Abstract Summary

New iFit platform makes fitness testing game-like and engaging for elderly residents in assisted living. Study of 101 seniors found the wireless sensor system, which tests grip strength, balance, flexibility and reaction time, was well-accepted. Users found it useful and easy to use, showing strong intention to continue using the technology to monitor their physical condition and slow frailty onset.
